I have been furiously trying to tame the 2 — 3 thousand broken links, and along the way I found some posts that did not migrate over. So, while it may seem quiet, it hasn’t been. Having said that, I do expect that going forward my posting will not be at the same furious rate as before.
I have been studying the temptation of Christ in the wilderness, especially Matthew’s version, and I think I will do a series of 5 short articles (intro, one on each temptation and conclusion) shortly. The first one will be based upon some sermonette notes from the Day of Atonement, and you might find that one in particular interesting. It’s not exactly something new, but I do think it might be a new way of looking at why it would have been wrong for Jesus to turn stones into bread when He was on the brink of starvation.
Hopefully, this will entice you to tune in, whether you agree or not with my analysis.
